That extinction can happen to. Metals used in common every day stuff are also threatened with extinction. That nice LCD you have on your desk reading this with? Better take VERY good care of it. Cause it could go 'Bye bye!'
Well maybe not bye bye, but it'll be fun mining the landfills for this stuff. ;)
